HOI ID is a multi-faceted interior design house based in the Middle East with satellite office in London; specializing in luxury residential and creative commercial design projects in the Middle East and worldwide.
With over 30 years of experience designing Palaces, High End Residential Resorts, Boutique Hotels, Hospitality and Commercial projects, HOI ID covers the full spectrum of the design industry.
Expertise in Luxury Interior Design and beautiful residential interiors; our attention to detail from initial concept stage to completion has constantly provided clients with homes beyond their expectations.
We understand that it takes much more than a beautiful design to make hospitality and commercial projects successful. HOI ID space plan without surrendering design, translating our client’s vision in ways that are practical, profitable and of course, chic.

THE DIRECTORS
Our two directors have amassed a wealth of experience through their design journey. They have gone on to undertake projects with a global reach, such as Historical restoration in Rome, Royal Palaces in Saudi Arabia, the award-winning Domain Hotel & Spa, Bahrain and private villas throughout the Middle East and Europe.
Steven and Mohamed are now fully augmenting their design offerings to include leading Corporate HQs and Governmental ministerial offices.
STEVEN HEMPHILL
Founding Partner – Head of Design.
Steven Hemphill - Interior Architect - has an eclectic and diverse knowledge of the design industry for more than thirty years.
He has carved a niche for himself in the Middle East, designing high-end residential projects and palaces in Saudi Arabia and Europe.
Steven’s passion for all things design has seen him featured in HELLO magazine, Commercial Interior Design, BRABBU, Gulf Life and many other publications; whist acquiring a prestigious client list that reads like the “who’s who” in the Middle East.
His expertise is often called upon by Italian Ceramic manufacturers to view and comment on prototypes of ceramics for the Middle East market.
MOHAMED SHEAT
Founding Partner – Head of Creative
Mohamed Sheat - Interior Designer - has a strong civil engineering background and heads up the HOI ID projects team.
Mohamed directs the technical and FF&E procurement for all HOI ID projects from site management and design implementation to quality control; with extensive hands-on site experience from initial build through to final dressing, Art and Styling being his proven passion.
Fine tuning his design skills at St Martin's College of Art and Design London, Mohamed has designed commissioned art and furniture pieces for many clients.
Mohamed is responsible for the re branding of HOI and diversifying the HOI design portfolio to now include the exciting world of Corporate HQs and Office designs.
